Let me start by saying last night I slept for fourteen uninterrupted hours and I feel amazing. This past week sleep is the one thing that I skipped out on so that I was able to have a social life and get all the things done for school, work, and ambassador duties. Normally I would sleep in on Saturdays but instead I volunteered my morning to the UC Blue Ash Dash. It was a great experience! I worked an event on Thursday trying to recruit students to sign up for the Dash, although this event didn't pan out so well, something happened during the event that made me smile. During my welcome desk shift the college had a campus wide Wi-Fi outage. You would have thought the world was ending. Students were running around as if they didn't know how to go on in life without their cell phones. It really opened my eyes as to how dependent we are on technology.
Meanwhile, in trigonometry I am not doing so well. The semester is half over which is more than enough time to bring my grade up. I am not giving up yet, I just need to try a little harder.
